This year I am in Ireland! As many of you know, my husband is American-Irish, and this year we are here in the Wicklow Mountains enjoying a family Christmas Irish-style. This involves: singing carols in a village Christmas market; a visit to a Christmas tree farm; a pantomime show in Dublin; and plenty of family get-togethers--the Ryans are quite a clan!

TV appearance: I was asked to speak about Winston Churchill in the British TV show, Secrets of the London Underground. What fun I had, going through the archives and speaking to Tim Dunn. It was such a treat to speak about my favorite topics: how Britain made it through the war.
